Day of the Dead Girl Portrait Tattoo and the Meaning behind Day of the Dead

What most people don't know is that Day of the Dead is actually a Mexican holiday that focuses on gatherings of friends and families to pray for and remember people who have died. Sugar Skulls started as a church decoration with the name of a passed spirit written on the forehead. The designs painted on these skulls are now being painted on peoples faces for decoration in the Day of the Dead celebrations.
